San Francisco & Yosemite
From the vibrant city of San Francisco head through gold country into the Wild West. Yosemite National Park is a forested valley of huge granite outcrops that has plenty to offer all family members: stunning scenery, hiking trails, biking and tubing opportunities

Zion National Park
Visit the giant sequoia trees before arriving at Zion National Park - a spectacular geological wonder of sheer red and white cliffs towering above the peaceful Virgin River.

Bryce Canyon
Thousands of ghost-like pillars of dazzlingly coloured rock await you as you reach Bryce Canyon before one of the many highlights - a night on a cowboy ranch set amongst breathtaking views.

Monument Valley & Grand Canyon
Monument Valley offers the classic western movie backdrop, before you finally hike at the Grand Canyon. End your trip among the bright lights and rollercoasters of Las Vegas.

The Trip

Anyone in good health should be able to take part – although sometimes the heat can be tiring. Walks can be modified depending on the group ability and it is possible to opt not to do them if you wish. Some activities may not be suitable for younger children. Participation camping – you’ll need to put up your own tent and help your Group Leader with the shopping, cooking and camp chores. Minimum age: 8 years.

Top Tips

Be careful with your dollar bills; different denominations are all the same size and colour and look very similar. Keep some one dollar bills handy for tipping, so you don’t get confused and over-pay by mistake.

You will have: Hotels (2nts), camping (10nts), lodge (2nts) You’ll stay in modern, comfortable hotels with en suite accommodation. Camping is on a mixture of established sites with full ablution blocks and primitive wild camps with basic facilities.

Day 6 - Drive Zion Canyon

Day 7 - Zion National Park

Day 8 - Bryce Canyon National Park

Day 9 - Drive to Lake Powell; optional water sports

Day 10 - Lake Powell

Day 11 - Cowboy camp

Day 12 - Monument Valley; jeep tour

Day 13 - Grand Canyon

Day 14 - Grand Canyon

Day 15 - Drive to Las Vegas

Day 16 - Las Vegas; Overnight flight to London
