Kuching
First stop is a city tour to discover the charms of this riverine city established by the first White Rajah of Sarawak. Old Chinese temples and colorful markets dot almost every corner.

Iban Head Hunters
Set off by road and longboat deep into Sarawak, where with your Iban hosts you'll hike jungle trails, try Iban-style fishing and swim at a waterfall, giving you a true picture of Iban lifestyle, culture and hospitality.

Jungle & Treehouses
In Bako NP you walk trails and look for wild boar, monitor lizards and proboscis monkeys. Next, head for the shore of the South China Sea to a retreat at the foot of Santubong Mountain. Unique treehouse accommodation is a real winner with the kids.

Orang-utans, Turtles & Kota Kinabalu
Travel to Sepilok - home of the orang-utan rehabilitation project where you'll learn about this endangered animal. On Turtle Island, relax and snorkel, hopefully seeing these marine reptiles come ashore to lay eggs in the evening. End your adventure at Kota Kinabalu, where you can enjoy a snorkelling trip to beautiful coral islands or go white water rafting (both optional).

You will have :You’ll stay in comfortable hotels with en suite facilities; the national park lodges will be more basic. You’ll also stay in a longhouse run by an Iban community who’ll be your hosts during your stay. Swimming opportunities- In the sea and at waterfalls.

Your Itinerary

Day 1 - Depart London.

Day 2 - Arrive Kuching; city tour.

Day 3 - Travel by road and river to dinner with villagers.

Day 4 - Nanga Sumpa Jungle Trail

Day 5 - Explore jungle, swim at waterfall, Iban-style fishing.

Day 6 - 7 Damai Rainforest & Beach.

Day 8 - Sepilok - Orang-utan Reserve.

Day 9 - Turtle Island

Day 10 - Kota Kinabalu

Day 11 - Kota Kinabalu

Day 12 - End of Trip. Return flight to London.
