Montreal & Toronto
After discovering the multicultural city of Montreal, we board the train as it snakes along the shores of Lake Ontario to Toronto. From here there's the opportunity to visit the mighty Niagara Falls before we continue our journey. Travelling in style aboard The Canadian, we cross the lakelands of North Ontario before emerging onto the vast prairies that stretch to the Rockies.

Rocky Mountains
Rising like a tidal wave from the prairies below, the Rocky Mountains offer some of the best preserved natural wilderness anywhere in North America. Exploring Jasper and Banff National Parks with our guide, we discover a landscape of green forested mountains, sparkling emerald lakes and creaking blue glaciers.

The Pacific Coast
Travelling on board the Rocky Mountaineer is an unforgettable experience. Built over one hundred years ago to join east and west Canada it is a breathtaking ride over 2 days through spiral tunnels, along tumultuous rivers, past glacier fed lakes and all framed by the majestic snow-capped Rocky Mountains on either side. Arriving in Vancouver as the sun sets over the Pacific Ocean, it will be the perfect ending to a quite incredible journey.

The Trip

One of the world's most famous rail journeys with time to explore city highlights and the best of the Rockies. All walks are optional, so suitable for people of average fitness.

You will have: 10nts hotels; standard hotels used throughout, 2nts sleeper train aboard The Canadian in Silver and Blue Class, the best service available. The cabins have cosy upper and lower berths by night and comfortable armchairs by day, a washbasin and WC. Showers are available in each carriage

Meals included - 12 breakfasts, 5 lunches & 2 dinners

Your transport will include The Canadian (Silver and Blue Class), The Rocky Mountaineer (Red Leaf Class - with reclining seats) Bus/On Foot.

Your Itinerary

Day 1 - Fly London/Montreal.

Day 2 - In Montreal; orientation tour; free afternoon

Day 3 -Train to Toronto; orientation tour..

Day 4 - In Toronto; optional visit to Niagara Falls.

Day 5 - Full day in Toronto. PM Board 'The Canadian' for 4-day rail journey.

Day 6 - 7 On 'The Canadian'

Day 8 - Arrive Jasper; orientation tour.

Day 9 - In Jasper; walking in Maligne Canyon (optional).

Day 10 - Drive Icefields Parkway to Banff via Columbia Icefield and Lake Louise.

Day 11 - In Banff; free day for optional ascent of Sulphur Mountain.

Day 12 - Board 'Rocky Mountaineer' to Kamloops.

Day 13 - Continue on 'Rocky Mountaineer' to Vancouver.

Day 14 - In Vancouver; city tour.

Day 15 - Fly London..

Day 16 - Arrive London..
