The Seaside is a small compact hotel, right in the seafront with very few steps around the grounds. It is a great base for families. The hotel is set in attractive gardens with stunning views over Ortakent Bay and Numan's island. There is a sea view from nearly all of the public areas, so you can sit back, relax and watch the action on the water.
Location
The Seaside Hotel enjoys a secluded location on the southern coastline of the Bodrum peninsula, amongst the orange and mandarin groves near Ortakent, one of the oldest settlements in the area. Travel time from the airport is approximately 1hour
Accommodation
The hotel comprises of 61 rooms.There is a choice of twins, doubles, triples and inter-connecting rooms for families. All have private en suite facilities (some family rooms have bath and/or shower, twin and double rooms have shower only), air conditioning, direct dial telephone, satellite TV, hairdryer and fridge. One room is equipped to be more accessible for those with mobility problems. First floor suite benifits from a lounge area and sea view.
 
Meals
Daily breakfast, daily lunch and four evening meals each week.
Activities
Morning conditions are generally good for waterskiing and by the afternoon, the wind usually picks up to a fresh force 4. In light morning winds with our expert tuition, novices will soon be setting sail solo. Afternoons offer exciting and challenging conditions for improvers and adventurous beginners, who will enjoy the wide range of boats and excellent choice of boards for all levels and conditions.For less confident sailors, there are exhilarating rides with our instructors aboard Dart 16 catamarans or the chance to explore the surrounding coastline by kayak. Alternatively, there is plenty of snorkelling kit for you to borrow and explore the underwater world.

  • Windsurfing - RYA windsurfing tuition and courses are included • Tuition is progressive and flexible. Clinics for beginners to experts are included covering the RYA Fast Forward Windsurfing Scheme

  • Kayaking - 20 one and two seater kayaks.
  • Yachting - Skippered day yacht, £300 per yacht per day, or £60 per person if booked locally, subject to availability.
  • Scuba Diving & Snorkelling - PADI 5 star Instructor Development Dive Centre nearby.

Out and About
Turkish Baths - Relax in a customary Hammam in the hills above Ortakent. A traditional Turkish Bath is the ultimate cleansing and relaxing treatment. Excursions to the Hammam can be arranged around the activities on offer at the club and additional treatments are available. A trip to Turkey wouldn’t be complete without a visit to the Turkish Bath.

Ephesus - Take a cultural visit to one of the best-preserved classical sites in Europe. Home to The Temple of Artemis, one of the seven wonders of the world, Ephesus offers an insight into the world of the Romans and their civilisation. The trip also incorporates a stop at St Johns Chapel.
Boat Trips - A number of boat trips are available from the nearby village of Yashi; traditional Turkish gulet cruises are available for the day so you can soak up the rays and the stunning coastline scenery. Arrive in style by taking a fast boat around to Bodrum town. Alternatively take it easy on a catamaran sailing cruise to a secluded bay for swimming and snorkelling.
