Introduction

Malta and Gozo family holiday. A superb mixture of adventure, culture and relaxation at the crossroads of the Mediterranean. The neighbouring island of Gozo is your base for the first few days of your trip - a quite and relaxing place to start your adventure. The mountains and plains are ideal for cycyling and a 4WD safari across the the isle provides stunning views of the surrounding Mediterranean sea. You will take to the water for a day swimming and snokelling in crystal clear sea around Comino, before a change of pace as you wander the ancient streets of Victoria. After transferring back to Malta, you have free time to enjoy the best of the island before a final day at Sweethaven, film set of Popeye, now a thrilling theme park.

Gozo & Comino
Just 8km away, the neighbouring island of Gozo feels like a different world; a gentle landscape made up of undulating hills, lush farmland and clear blue seas. Based at Marsalforn; a peaceful, family-friendly port, you’ll explore the locality by jeep and by bike. You’ll also take a boat excursion to Comino, where you get the opportunity to swim and snorkel in the Mediterranean, and enjoy a different view of the stunning coastal scenery. In the evenings you can relax in one of the area’s lovely waterfront restaurants.

Victoria & Malta
The diminutive yet bustling capital of Victoria is your last stop on Gozo, where you are able to enjoy a tour of the capital, including the Citadel and the market. After transferring to Malta, you have a day free to explore. Your final visit is to Anchor Bay, used in 1979 to recreate Sweethaven, the hometown of Popeye. Here you can explore the film set and enjoy all of the theme park attractions. It’s a fun end to a great activity week for children (with relaxation time thrown in for the adults!).
