  Tropical Island Hopping
Spend your time hopping between the three contrasting islands of Mahé, Praslin and La Digue, and visit some of the smaller islets close by. Primeval mist forests, huge flocks of sea birds and giant tortoises, black parrots and possibly the flightless white-throated rail bird (related to the extinct Dodo) are waiting to be discovered..

Mist-shrouded Peaks on Mahé
Our first few days are spent on the Seychelles' largest island, Mahé. We begin with a tour of Victoria and admire its typical Creole-style buildings. We then enter the Morne Seychellois National Park and hike a trail originally used by cinnamon plantation workers up through lush forest to Trois Frères peak for wonderful views over the island. Several smaller islands can be visited by boat and the Marine National Parks are excellent places for magical glimpses of underwater life..
Palm Forests of Praslin
Taking the fast catamaran ferry we arrive on Praslin, home of arguably the best white sand and palm-lined beaches in the archipelago. Here we'll visit the World Heritage Site of Vallée de Mai - a unique forest adorned with granite boulders and home to both the black parrot and the amazing Coco de Mer palm. Cousin Island Reserve is a popular boat excursion for bird enthusiasts or, for the active, tour Praslin by bicycle.
Discover laid-back La Digue
We ferry across to La Digue with its impressive perfect beaches sheltered by sculptured boulders and where bicycles and ox-carts ply the dusty roads. This tranquil island is an ideal place on which to unwind. Small enough to explore on foot with coconut and vanilla plantations with tumble-down houses abound along with lush tropical vegetation. There's plenty of time to follow your own interests. Finally, we return by ferry to Mahé.
The Trip
Easy-going island explorations in a tropical paradise with an emphasis on enjoying the beautiful mountain scenery, palm-lined beaches and remarkable bio-diversity. Easy day walks and optional activities.

Top Tips
During the hot summer months it’s important to cover up well with sun cream and a hat. If the idea of drinking lots of water doesn’t appeal, take some juice or squash concentrate and add this to your water bottle each time you fill up. Clothing should be lightweight and ideally cotton all year round. Shorts and T-Shirts are acceptable everywhere though take long trousers/skirts for evening wear. Don’t forget your swimming costume.
