Travelling east, you'll experience a warm welcome as guests of a rural community. You'll explore the area and participate in village life, trying your hand at a variety of exciting activities discovering a truly special experience.
Beaches & Islands
The picture-postcard beaches of Koh Phangnan are perfect for some down-time, snorkelling or simply relaxing. On Koh Samui you'll explore the island's coconut-palm-filled interior; dramatic waterfalls and a butterfly farm will keep all the family entertained.

Sea Kayaking
Ang Thong Marine Park is where you embark on your round island sea-kayaking adventure. The stunning forested coastlines of the 42 limestone islands making up the marine park hide caves, lagoons and white sand beaches begging to be explored.

The Trip
This is a fairly relaxed trip so anyone who is reasonably active and in good health should be able to take part. Jungle walks in Khao Sok NP and travelling can be tiring because of the high temperature and humidity. There could be some ‘wet-landings’ where you will be required to get in and out of boats with your luggage. Minimum age: 5 years.

Top Tips
There are two basic types of curry in Thailand, those based on water and those based on coconut milk. Coconut-based dishes are well known in the UK and include the classic red, green and yellow curries. Local favourites in Thailand include the water-based ‘sour curry,’ often prepared with fish and ‘jungle curry,’ which is usually very spicy.
