and Gap Year or just a career break, we have a wide range of projects
and great opportunities for travel for you to choose from. You can
help with conservation, painting, cooking, monitoring wildlife and
teaching, at the same time as enjoying a memorable volunteering
holiday overseas.
It
doesn't have to mean changing your lifestyle radically. Use your
year or time out to learn about the natural world, travel without
destroying the planet and help animals, eco systems and habitats.
It might be the most important and rewarding thing you ever do....

If you have a soft spot for dolphins and are a water baby
at heart, you'll love this adventure! The beautiful beaches
of Plettenberg Bay provide the perfect setting for worthwhile
conservation activities to benefit dolphins, whales, sharks
and other precious marine life.
These
environmental volunteer projects focus on preserving the country's
natural treasures. Four-week conservation in Honduras projects
are spent at La Tigra National Park where you can help protect
wildlife and the essential water supply.
There
are five different species of turtles found within Sri Lanka
and this project in Kosgoda, on the South West Coast, has been
set up to help monitor and conserve these endangered species.
This is a great one for volunteers prepared to work hard and
use their initiative and energy to help this project get back
on track.
Live
and work in the heart of Ecuador's Amazon. Here you will be
amongst one of the most biologically diverse ecosystems on the
earth where the Amazon meets the foothills of the Andes to co-exist
together.
Guided
by an experienced team-leader, you will join an international
team of volunteers. Projects will vary but may involve helping
to preserve wildlife (including surveys, monitoring and habitat
restoration), plant trees and restore native landscapes, preserve
riverbeds and maintain walking trails.
